About Us
Established in the 60's Olympic Blinds Limited are one of the UK's premier manufacturers and suppliers of Window Blinds.

We manufacture using traditional methods, every piece of fabric is handled by real people throughout the manufacturing process, this ensures that the fabric is inspected many times before it is released for shipping and should therefore be perfect at your window.
We also manufacture our core products using only the very best UK components, since partnering with Louvolite for our systems we have not had a single component failure, All Louvolite components are rigorously tested to the highest UK and International standards.
Our non core components for specialist blinds are supplied by the recognised premium supply partners in Europe and Include Somfy Motors and controls for electrically operated blinds, Velux for skylights, Benthin (Faber) for our Large Blind System and Yewdale Bridge for our Hospital Cubical track.

We have always taken great care to provide the very highest levels of service to all of our sales channels, We are still trading with customers who opened their accounts over 40 years ago, these customers stay with us because we understand their business and provide excellent service

People
We have at Olympic Blinds a number of staff who have worked for us for over 30 years, a good example would be our Commercial Sales Manager Tony Smith who started work as a Contract Rep in 1975, Tony has a huge amount of experience and technical expertise and has as an engineer created innovative solutions to the most technical issues over the years. All of our staff both in production and support roles are highly trained. We do not use unskilled agency staff at all in our business.

Olympic Blinds Enviromental Policy
Olympic Blinds Limited Takes It's Environmental Responsibilities Seriously, We were one of the first commercial blind manufacturers to introduce an environmentally friendly contract fabric range for office blinds, these fabrics are free of CFC's, Fibreglass, Formaldehyde and petrochemical binding agents. We also sell a Fire Resistant Venetian Blind Range called "ECO WOOD" that is made from recycled plastics. With our supply partner Louvolite we developed a "make a difference" mission statement that highlights a partnership philosophy that will enable continuous improvement in environmentally friendly blind manufacturing processes. Olympic Blinds have published a number of articles in the Regional, National and Trade press on the benefits of environmentally friendly blind manufacturing.
